Bachmann: Joe Wilson “the most mild-mannered loving guy you’ll ever meet”

On death panels:

“But there’s been a confusion about death panels. “Death panels” isn’t just about end-of-life counseling. Death panels are the bureaucracies that President Obama is establishing, that will — where bureaucrats will make the decision on who gets health care, and how much. who will have access to doctors? How quickly? What will the delays be? Because we know, this bill will include rationing.”

No…Palin coined the phrase to refer to fictional euthenasia panels that would grant or deny medical care based on personal economic productivity. Also:

Joe Wilson spoke truth on the floor of the House last evening, when he said — when he was stating that, his disagreement with the President.

Also:

Joe Wilson is my friend. He’s the last person I talked before I left Washington. He’s the sweetest, most mild-mannered loving guy you’ve ever seen. Such a huge heart.

After the video cut off, Bachmann further praised Wilson because he is he the only other Congressman who acknowledges Old Purple Suit. When pressed, Bachmann said Mr. Purple Suit lives in the ceiling, “hears everything,” likes ham and tomato soup, “is the only one who understands,” and served as her chief campaign advisor in her 2008 congressional run.
