Catholic Relief Services rep. to speak on HIV in Uganda and Pakistan

Event Name: “HIV: A Continuum of Care” Catholic Relief ServicesDescription: Catholic Relief Services Staff coming from Uganda & Pakistan:
Sister Gertrude Kabanyomozi (Uganda)
Sister Gertrude Kabanyomozi is the ART Program Coordinator with AIDSRelief Uganda. As such, she oversees the ART program and PMTCT activities at the grass roots level, especially supporting Kasanga Primary Health Center. Her work with the PMTCT support group has a special focus on pregnant women living with HIV and lactating mothers. Sister Gertrude has been with CRS for one year and is also a member of the Diocesan Health Board for Kasese Diocese. Prior to joining CRS she was the Kasese Diocese Health Coordinator. Sister Gertrude holds a Master of Arts degree in Human Services from St. Edwards University, Austin, Texas.

Adil Sheraz (Pakistan)
Adil Sheraz is a Senior Program Manager for HIV and AIDS programming in Pakistan, based in Islamabad. He has been with CRS for two and a half years, managing and providing technical assistance to local partners of CRS Pakistan who in turn provide home-based care in two provinces. Mr. Sheraz is also a member of the Advisory Committee for People Living with HIV and AIDS in Pakistan. His focus on working with the Pakistani government helped CRS to submit to Global Fund Round 9 as a Sub Recipient. Before coming to CRS, Mr. Sheraz worked with the Balochistan AIDS Network, a consortium focused on broad spectrum prevention of HIV among the general population, high risk and vulnerable groups. Mr. Sheraz holds a Master of Business Administration with specialization in Finance and Human Resource Management.
