Students to demonstrate at Academic Senate over O’Brien resolution

Via a mailing to the group Marquette: Do Not Discriminate against Jodi O’Brien (2,447 members as of 11:45 PM 5/9/2010):

[Today, May 10] the academic senate is meeting to vote on some really important motions concerning the Jodi O’Brien situation. There are already *multiple* motions that have been put forth by faculty members, all demanding that Fr. Wild in some way be held accountable for his recent decisions. Still, it requires strength and courage to stand up and vote against the head of the university. PLEASE come and show support for the faculty as they make some difficult decisions tomorrow. Let the know that THE STUDENTS SUPPORT THEM in HOLDING FR WILD ACCOUNTABLE.

Meeting is being held in AMU Ballroom three
Be at the AMU at 2:30PM MONDAY ((tomorrow))
Gathering will only be about 30 minutes, and it will be mostly silent, so bring laptops, books, notes, whatever to work on.
